Great News – a new phase of our story
As a result of the many achievements of the team at Nice to Be Nice we have decided to place our future legacy on a more formal standing. As a result, we are delighted to announce that we have been successful in applying to the UK Charity Commision and have become a registered charity, numbered 1213147.
For most of our day-to-day activities, things will be very much business as usual and very little change will be noticed. We are also now able to use the Gift Aid scheme to increase the value of donations and be able to apply for funding from a much wider number of sources.
By becoming a registered Charity, we hope to better ensure the long-term future of our projects and support for Schools and education in The Gambia, thus providing more certainty for the children we support and the teaching staff.
