A Classroom That Inspires Learning and Growth
In November 2024, we proudly opened a new, modern classroom at St Paul’s School in Sanyang, The Gambia. Funded entirely by our generous donors, this £12,000 project marks N2BN’s first fully project-managed classroom build.
Project Highlights:
- Strong, durable desks for older students
- Large blackboards at both ends for dual-class teaching
- Barred windows and shutters for security and ventilation
- Built using locally-made bricks and skilled village labour
- Access pathway for safe movement during the rainy season
Impact:
- School enrolment nearly doubled (60 → 112 students)
- Improved classroom comfort and airflow for better learning
- Opened the door for future infrastructure upgrades, including electricity and IT resources
