About Us

Improving Education in The Gambia

Nice to be Nice CIO is a registered charity (Charity Number: 1213147) with the Charities Commission for England and Wales.

We work to improve access to education in The Gambia by partnering with schools and communities to provide classrooms, teacher training, school equipment, electricity, and clean water.

Rooted in the simple belief that it’s nice to be nice, we are a non-religious organisation committed to kindness, fairness, and lasting impact.

New Classroom at St Paul’s School

In November 2024, we proudly opened a new, modern classroom at St Paul’s School in Sanyang, The Gambia. Funded entirely by our generous donors, this £12,000 project marks N2BN’s first fully project-managed classroom build.

A Better Education for Everyone

N2BN connected the entire St Paul’s School to electricity, wiring all buildings and installing essential fixtures. The buildings now benefit from ceiling fans, internal and external lighting, security lights and power points across all classrooms.

What Our BENEFICIARIES Say

On behalf of the Catholic Education Secretariat, the community, the students of St Paul’s as well as the teachers and myself as Headmaster, I wish to thank Nice to be Nice for generously donating another 10 latops. This gives our students the opportunity to acquire life changing skills.

Victal Bass

Headmaster, St Paul's School, Sanyang, The Gambia

Nice to be Nice have supported the last three schools where I have been the Headmaster since 2014. They have allowed us to greatly increase pupil numbers by providing food for school meals, school uniforms, school materials, books, sports equipment and funding for projects including school building upgrades. I cannot thank them enough for the impact their work has on improving life chances of Gambian children.

SEring cham

Headmaster at Kwinella School, Jarrasoma

We cannot thank Nice to Be Nice enough for their longstanding and ongoing support of St Paul’s. They have delivered many projects at our school including connection of electricity, upgrading water supplies, improving security, provision of much equipment & materials as well as a brand new classroom. May their work continue by the grace of God.
