CHAIR

Graham Cooper

Graham enjoyed a long career in the City of London and undertook many senior roles including the Head of Procurement at the Bank of England. He has also served as a Chairman for a number of charities and not for profit organisations.

William Hardman

Will joined N2BN in 2022 as our Education specialist. He is a Faculty Leader of Social Sciences at Brompton Academy and is passionate about further education in Africa. Will has lead projects including pen pal schemes, fundraising within schools including working with the Equalities Committee at Chatham Grammar.

Fundraising & Strategy Lead

John Buckels

John joined N2BN in 2024 as our Fundraising and Strategy Lead and has since been crucial in N2BN’s fundraising activities and strategic development. He is a Senior Sales Director and Scientist who has over 20 years of experience in the fields of genetics and infectious diseases.

Richard Manley
Co-Founder

Richard Manley

Richard co-founded Nice to be Nice in 2013 soon after his first visit to the Gambia. He has dedicated many hundreds of hours to the cause and made regular visits to the Gambia to hand deliver school supplies, equipment, and food.

Jason Hollingsworth

Jason is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of professional experience. He has worked with the Board’s of national Charities including Victim Support. Jason has provided financial, fundraising and general advice to N2BN more than 10 years.

Logistics Manager

Solomon Gibba

Sol has been involved since N2BN was formed in 2013. His tireless efforts and energy has been the cornerstone of our success. He is also our guide, our driver, has managed the delivery of many projects and the person we consult on almost everything we do in The Gambia.

Education Lead

Sering Cham

Mr Cham is the Headteacher at Kwinella School, Jarrasoma (previously Head Teacher of Kani Kunda Lower Basic School and Headteacher at Badumeh). He keeps us up to date with the progress of our activities and the impact of our work. He also ensures that materials, equipment and facilities that we provide are put to the best possible use and for the benefit of as many children as possible.

Victal Bass

Victal is the Headteacher at St Paul’s Nursery and Primary School in Keninding Saibali, Kombo South Region. He is the project lead for all the projects at his school including the building of new classrooms.
